CLLL History
1976- A group of dads all pitched in to provide a place for the kids to practice since CLLL did not have their own fields at this time. Games were played in Schertz. A few of the dads were Al Espinosa, Robert Flint Sr, Charlie Moore, and many others. These men, with many others, spent countless hours at Mountain Valley Elementary, now MVMS. With no designated baseball field, these men had to mow and prep the open field for the kids to practice.
1976-1977: Two fields were put in between Poor Boys (Lowes Market) and the school. The same group of men helped build these two fields. The coaches and their kids spent many hours prepping the fields, installing fencing, and of course practicing.
1978-79: With the donations from the VFW, PEC, and Charlie Moore, both fields finally got bleachers. This was the first year that CLLL was chartered to play in the Little League International tournament and advance past district.
1979-1996: CLLL was run by many dedicated parents. Unsure of what District(district 19?)
1996: CLLL chartered under district 31.
1996- Current: CLLL would play on the fields the group of dads worked hard to maintain from 1976 until around 2005. Around 2005 the Hidden Valley Sports complex was completed. Practices and games slowly moved away from Mountain Valley to our current home of Hidden Valley Sports.
Other Notable People:
Jason Gillett- Player Agent, Coach. Jason and his son Jacob (catcher) were the big reason the JRs field came to be. Jason led the push to develop the kids starting young and building them up to be able to play and enjoy the game at this level.

Tim Fowler- Umpire- in -Chief for many years.
Dale Dehlin- President, Coach
Jody Brennan- Team Mom
LJ Anderson- President, Treasure, Coach
Andy Pipkin- President, Coach
The two trees were planted in memory of Lue Sanders and Lee Braun. These two coaches were a very impactful Manager/Assistant duo that helped lead multiple kids to loving the game!
Through the years there have been many people that grew up playing for CLLL and have come back to help the organization that gave them a stepping stone for the game and for life.
